Fixed Assets Bulk Import

Hi,

We have over 1000 fixed assets in our Gardening business and I have them all on a spreadsheet.

Is there a bulk import feature, or would I have to create each record individually?
I was thinking of backing up the business and editing/merging in the Fixed Assets CSV file following the backup format, saving, then restoring the business backup file however the backup format is binary.

Any other way?

If you look at the Fixed Asset tab there is a Batch Create function.

This would bring the assets directly into the business so after doing your first backup, there would be no need to restore the business from a backup - unless the import goes wrong.

You might want to create a Test Fixed Asset and export it so you know the file layout required.
Include Depn info as well in the test.
