I’m looking for a new software for my company. I’m currently using a dinosaur software (very stable but the hardware is giving me license issues on new server). The old software has tax form format thats already created for us (Singapore). Our Tax is 7% (at the moment).
So i was checking out the updates etc and seem that the tax version isnt manually keyed in (as in we set our own %) but it has to be added in by Manager? Normally how long will this get updated?
If I run the server version, will all of my users able to create Sales Invoices at the same time and save them at the same time?
Will I be able to have some forms of ‘filters’ where I can set and then run my own report to tabulate the figures? ie Expenses and I entered as SubTotal filter to various GL codes, Tax amount to the Tax code? Or I can run by vehicles numbers to tabulate own report?
I havent install and test the it on my server but wondering if i can run reports by customers, able to see their individual invoices, click on it n it will show the particular invoice?
Will Manager consider a paid version to get help from actual staff? Will Manager be able to help me with some updates/functions at some charges?

Yes, as long as they have the necessary permissions.
This will depend on what you are trying to report. There are reports for general ledger summaries and transactions, several different tax reports showing the different tax codes you may have in use, etc. Whether you can run a report by vehicle numbers depends on what type of report you want to run and how you have entered data. Vehicle numbers will necessarily be a custom field, since vehicle number isn’t a normal accounting parameter. But there is great flexibility with custom fields.
Download the desktop edition and create a test company. Enter typical transactions. See what reports are available. You can definitely run reports by customer and see individual invoices.
You can add any tax code by yourself.
Yes. You can create sales invoices both in personal and in server version.
Reporting, right now, is limited to what you can see in the reporting section. Lubos, the developer, is actually working on a way to access to the database in order to permit any kind of reporting.
I also asked for if it was possible to have a paid support and development but the answer was negative.
