Feature Requests: Communicate "scripted" actions to end users

Before I launch into being a choosing beggar, thanks again for the quality gratis software (I’m a Manager Desktop user).

Requests up front (please implement as many as possible):

  1. Document script changes like this on the Manager releases page - Releases | Manager.io
  2. Notify users to scripts that have recently ran in the application itself. I don’t open my business in Manager and assume Manager changed the business data on me.
  3. Add actions done by scripts into the Manager history.
    1. I think I read elsewhere on the forum the history feature may be replaced entirely with something new in the future so this point may be moot.
  4. Respect the Lock Date of the business when running scripts. Let scripts fail/error if they try to edit transactions before a certain lock date and give the user an understanding of what the script will do and what date it needs to edit back to.

My issues in Sudden Bank Reconciliation Failure and Opening Balance Pos/Neg Flip were likely caused by Bank reconcilliation showing discrepancy from before first use..? - Manager Forum

I’m still a bit skeptical the logic laid out in the second thread applies to my case perfectly, but that’s what I’m going with for now.

I found this quite a frustrating issue because it seemingly came out of nowhere and had me wondering if a bit flip happened or if my database was corrupted which as you can understand what unnecessarily stressful. If the program had simply communicated to me what was happening, I could have attributed the cause to the new Manager version/script.
