Dear Manager.io Team,
I’m writing to express a strong feature request on behalf of Malaysian users of Manager.io. As a business owner and loyal user of the Cloud Edition, we truly appreciate the simplicity, flexibility, and power of your accounting platform.
As you may be aware, Malaysia is implementing a nationwide mandatory e-Invoice system (MyInvois) starting from 2024, enforced by LHDN (Inland Revenue Board). For companies like ours, this means we will soon be required to submit every invoice electronically in real-time via API.
Currently, Manager.io Cloud Edition does not support this integration. This has forced many users to consider leaving the platform—even though we truly love using it—simply because we can’t meet compliance requirements efficiently without significant manual effort.
Why this matters:
- Supporting e-Invoice API (for Malaysia) would retain your existing Malaysian user base and potentially attract more businesses seeking compliant, affordable, and intuitive solutions.
- Your competitors (e.g., Financio, AutoCount, SQL Account) have started rolling out native integration, though often at higher costs and with less intuitive interfaces.
- Manager.io Cloud Edition with e-Invoice support would be the perfect solution for SMEs needing automation without complexity.
We understand that Manager.io values minimalism and performance, and we believe this could be implemented as an optional paid feature module, allowing serious users to adopt it while keeping the core system clean.
Please kindly consider placing this request into your product roadmap. We would be more than happy to provide sample documentation, the LHDN API spec (English SDK is available), and even collaborate as early testers if needed.
Thank you for building such a great system. We truly hope Manager.io can evolve with us during this important regulatory shift.
