UAE - E-invoicing

Hi,

In UAE, the e-invoicing is going to be implemented in 2026.

Is manager IO will be in compliance with the new law?

Thanks

Can you post a link to the new law so that we can see what you are referring to?

The developer is planning to make Manager compliant with e-invoicing regulations. In fact, this is a priority and a lot of progress has been made for KSA – which by far has the most obtrusive tax regulations so far.

I’m pretty sure the implementation of UAE e-invoicing wouldn’t be a problem for Manager in 2026

UAE eInvoicing Requires Taxpayers to report transactions through Accredited Providers. All reporting will be handled by the Provider selected by the Taxpayer. What managers must do is adjust to the needs of the Provider selected by each user.

Here is a link to the explanation from the ministry.

It would be good to get a confirmation upfront if Manager is going to be compliant for this in time, or if we should prepare to move to a compliant system?
@lubos ?

Hi.
This is an important topic for us here in the UAE, and since the accounting system is the heart of the companies it is necessary to know now if we need to start moving to a different accounting system or not.
That process needs to start now so we are ready for the change in the new financial year. I personally will start this transition relatively soon if there is no indication from @lubos if this will be implemented into Manager in time or if more time is needed etc.

Your feedback is highly appreciated @lubos !

Thanks

Hi Manager.IO,

Is there any news on this topic. Our companies like all in the UAE will need to comply with this and if manager.io is not planning the integration unfortunately we will need to move to another solutions in order to comply with local regulations.

Like planning the integration requires time we also require time in case this is not going to be pursuit by Manager.io and would appreciate an official statement so that we could make decisions and a plan accordingly.

Best regards,

any news on this?

There is still no official confirmation yet from Manager about UAE e-invoicing compliance.

Based on the Ministry guidance, businesses will need to connect through Accredited Service Providers (ASPs), and invoices will have to be submitted in a structured format (not just PDFs).

So the main point is: even if an accounting system works well today, it will also need to support integration with these providers to stay compliant.

If Manager doesn’t confirm this soon, it would be safer for companies to at least start evaluating backup options, since implementation and migration can take time.

At the moment, most businesses in the UAE are in a “wait but prepare” stage.

From manager side, we can provide the extension service to generate the invoice, but as far my understanding UAE tax department required to send through authorized providers. so find proper provider first and ask their requirement how to send invoice through their portal. then we can help to make it done.

Stop this. Having this crisis and getting this kind of ads!!!
