Feature Request: Paste Bulk Purchase Entries from Excel (Top-to-Bottom Format)

Hello Manager.io team,

I’d like to suggest a feature to make daily purchase entry more efficient.

In my business, I often purchase over 40 different items per day. Currently, I can manually input these purchases vertically (top-to-bottom), which works — but it would be extremely helpful if we could copy and paste bulk purchase data directly from Excel using a vertical (top-to-bottom) format, instead of a horizontal (left-to-right) layout.

For example:

Date Item Name Quantity Unit Price
17/05/2025 Wheat Flour 5 kg 10,000
17/05/2025 Sugar 3 kg 12,000
17/05/2025 Chicken Eggs 30 pcs 1,800

…and so on in 1 purchase order or purchase invoice

This kind of feature would greatly speed up data entry for users who already manage their daily purchases in Excel.

Would it be possible to add support for vertical Excel data paste in batch purchase invoice or purchase order entries?

If I understand you correctly, you are requesting that transaction lines take up additional rows instead of additional columns.

If that was your request then unfortunately, Manager has moved away from the vertical method in favor of this new horizontal method as you would describe it.
