Feature Proposal - Company Setup Templates

Setting up a new company and need to replicate all settings from another company. I think all have their way to set up this and would be easy to be able to copy basics to start.

Few ways to make it work:

  1. When creating a company choose another company (from server/cloud) to use as a template to copy:
  • Tabs customization
  • Chart of accounts
  • Custom fields
  • Maybe optional: clients, suppliers
  1. Export as template and import
  • Exporting would remove all transactions
  • Optionally choose if remove clients/suppliers

You could import a backup, rename it and then use Batch Delete to get rid of all transactions that you do not need

Actually good workaround! A bit of manual work but also could make a template myself for future companies.
