Why is the “cleared” date rather than the “transaction/document” date printed when I export the cash statement via TSV to Excel?

your question is not clear.

  1. The Cleared date is applicable only to Bank Transactions and not Cash Transactions.
  2. When the Bank Transactions are exported, the transaction date is shown and not the Cleared date.

What version of Manager are you using? have you updated recently?

Thanks your quick response. Version I am using is 17.5.26.
I want to export from Bank/Cash account to a spreadsheet. The date that comes out on the spreadsheet is definitely the "cleared"date.
Also how do I export say one month from the Bank account rather than every month so far?

The Export function exports what is on the screen. So your question should be why whatever shows does so. To answer that, we need you to explain what you are looking at in more detail.

Keep in mind that you can also filter this out in the Excel spreadsheet. In fact, you have significantly more control over filtering the data within the spreadsheet :slight_smile:
