Most likely cause:

One or more addresses being asked to use in the To/Cc/Bcc lines of an email contain formatting that is seen as a violation of email format rules.
I.E. a ‘malformed’ email address for one or more recipient.

So there is an error in the PO email address you use.

Hi

Thank you for your reply. The format i have been using as not been changed. I give example of what i done:-

123@Royal-TG.com; 1234@royal-tg.com;

This are the email to individual. Are you saying i have done it wrong? Cause its working on my old laptop and i was able send to above email

Thanks

I can not replicate the error. Maybe show the screenshot of the Email screen that shows the information and then also the resulting error.

I even just email to 1 user. And i still get the same error

ok, i solved it… I removed email from the yellow highlight. And it works. Not sure why previous version allow to send to other email. But after removing it… I am able to send PO email out.

Thanks

Are you sure that you previously copied to a single address?

what do you mean single address?

I backup my data from my old pc and import it to new PC… all the settings are from previous data. So i am pretty sure its the same data. I didnt make any changes on the new PC. I just rely on the backup data.

So when you mentioned about CC/BCC… i just tried to removed the yellow highlight… and it works.

Thanks

In screenshot below taken from your own you entered 2 addresses:

It only accepts a single address, try it out!

Ok… thank you… 1 email address works… not sure why previous version accepted 2 emails? As i mention, the data was imported from previous data. But anyway… it work now… with 1 email… Once again… THANK YOU

Must be a pretty old previous version you imported from. The developer exchanged the SMTP code for a more robust system earlier last year (2023). It may be that the less robust code allowed for more than 1 in the copy to field. Note that the new system allows to enter a reply to other email address that many find very useful.

  • oh… i didnt know they have that features
  • u mean, the PO i sent to ABC@g.com can reply to my PO email? is that what you meant?

Did you meant this - shown above?

This is unfortunate.
Auto-Sending to multiple emails worked well for me to have multiple staff receive copies of the email.

I would at least like to have an auto-copy-to the main registered email, and an option to forward to 1 more.

You can still add multiple addresses to the email but not in SMTP settings. So any view screen that also has an email function you can send to multiple addresses.

Yes. But ideally wanted a method to automatically send all to a few selected emails.
