Email not working?

I have added all the e-mail setting and when I run the test e-mail it just loads grey and then stops? There is no notification that it’s worked just the green button goes green again from grey when trying to send.

I’ve checked my setting and password all correct, also I have ticked SSL and SMTP server requires authentication. I’ve checked my junk folder and nothing? Also send a test e-mail from the invoice section and nothing?

Would anyone be able to help me out?

Running Desktop version on MAC OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

If you are trying to use SSL on port 465 it will silently fail.
You would need to use port 587 (TLS) instead… at which point it will fail with a message.

Manager Desktop on OSX currently cannot email using a custom SMTP with SSL.
