E-invoicing system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Regarding the e-invoicing system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, there are some observations that are not present in the desktop version:

  1. There must be user management available, even if it’s just for one user.
  2. The invoice sequence must be automatic and cannot be tampered with.
  3. The date must automatically be the current date.

These are some observations according to the law. I understand that these features are available in the cloud and server versions, but just to clarify for the desktop user that the software is not compliant with the Zakat regulations. Is it necessary to use the cloud and server versions, or can this be addressed on the desktop version?

This is indeed the main difference between the Free Desktop edition and the other Paid for ones. If this is essential than you should consider purchasing the Cloud edition or if ICT handy the self-hosted Server edition.

The answer is simply to use the cloud or server version :slightly_smiling_face:

Yep I am in the US and I don’t think we have that rule here.
So I use the desktop.

Yes, Desktop Version is Single user and does not require Management User, user will always be Administrator.

There is no difference between Desktop Version and Cloud Version

For Manager - Zatca eInvoicing, there is no difference for all Editions.
Maybe you need to see this.

“Hello, it’s a great job that can’t be done by anyone but you. Greetings for this effort regarding the second phase. As for me, I’m here to talk about the desktop version. According to the Zakat regulations, it is not compatible with the sequence of invoices, the username, and the restrictions on editing today’s date and the invoice after creation. All of this is required by Zakat, and I know it is available in other versions like the cloud-based one.”
