Is there a way for the dropdown list to appear from left to right? Example if we are looking for a specific item, if the item name is lengthy the list goes like the one below:
It is very difficult to look for an item when the dropdown list goes like the one above. We would appreciate if you could also add a scroll bar below the dropdown list in addition to making it left to right, not the farthest right character will appear first.

I have seen long item Descriptions before, this is quite common with industrial invoices.
However, that’s the reason why we have separate fields for Item code, Item name and Autofill — Line description.
You should set up your items like this instead:
Yes, but length is not the issue here, the issue is the position of dropdown list. See, there are identical items but may differ in specs, volume, or in other aspect, or there are keywords that may be searched and a couple or dozen of items may have that keyword. The problem now is picking the right item we are about to use when we see the last words of every item, not the main categorization.
Example, the keyword is “Intel Iris”, now many of our laptop items have intel Iris, if we are to view the drop down list as such, we are having difficulty in picking the correct item since the primary indicator is at the beginning of the item name. Example the brand name and model are basically at the beginning of an item name. We cannot exactly pin point which item is which since what is shown are the last part of an item name. Maybe the dropdown list will be positioned that the first entry of an item will be shown first.
any update on this one? drop down position is still the same, can somebody fix this? we read from left to right, isn’t it only appropriate to position the dropdown list on the same manner? just a thought. again the length is NOT the issue. It’s the position. How can we know what item it was when the dropdown list shows the very end. We cant even distinguish what type of item it was since the general item description is always at the beginning. Please somebody. anyone??
Seems like this topic was left hanging. We do appreciate your previous comment, but what we are trying to point is the above method won’t work. You see, the autofill-line description is not searchable when you look for the product. That is why we are lodging all the item specifications in Item name. If you are looking for a specific laptop brand and model with a particular specification, example, intel iris, ddr5, 1TB SSD, Microsoft office, i7 12th Gen processor, you cannot limit such specification to autofill which you do not have a way to search for it if you are to choose from the dropdown list. That is what we are trying to request from you that maybe the dropdown list will not be position as such wherein the very last character or text is seen first. And mostly we do not read from Right to Left. How are we suppose to select an item we cannot see?
Please kindly consider our suggestion to make it from left to right. Thank you
