Might be an idea to ask Taxoptimiser whether they can clone sage 200 template and create one called Manager. It should take him 2 minutes to do it if it’s just a case of clone and rename template?
First of all I like a lot ability to customize reports!
- It allows integration with any other software with customized form
- Love it! and I guess feature will extend to other reports with time
I am not sure if it was bug or by design, but after I upgraded to latest 19.5.51 I didn’t get new report.
So I did download it from provided git, but initially I tried to copy paste full XML into new report transformation, which didn’t work.
For anyone in my situation: only Template part of it has to be copied so then you copy get everything within tags and not full XML. I also had to replace > and <.
Maybe it needs import functionality somewhere?
@isklerius There is already import functionality. See: Add localized settings and features | Manager
@lubos I am not sure what a bridging softwear is. but I know we can up load a file in a certain format to our IRD office. they have a template but I dont understand any of it . Maybe I could send you their file on it ?
The VAT Calculation Worksheet now has zero values in boxes 6, 7, 8. and 9. This is incorrect. Also all my old VAT Calculation Worksheet reports show zero values in these boxes.
I have checked my Manager and can confirm this bug. Definitely something not right.
What is “Vat calculation worksheet”? Is it something enabled for the UK VAT only? I don’t see it under Reports. Am I missing something?
The UK VAT Calculation Worksheet is for the UK only. It was formerly activated when using UK tax codes. Now, it is part of the business location scheme and can be imported separately. But unless you are filing UK VAT returns, it is completely unnecessary.
Bridging software is applicable to the UK
@mpb fixed in the latest version (19.5.59).
@lubos Just updated to 19.5.59
There are a few issues.
-
All my vat returns have changed from cash to accrual. I can change it back - that’s not a problem, but I thought that I would make you aware that something you have done has changed this setting.
-
Boxes 1-5 are showing Pounds only. They are not showing pence. They are supposed to be including pence as well.
-
Box 6 is now a Pound more than it was before the MTD updates. I am assuming this is a rouding issue. This is not correct.
-
Box 7 is empty
Thanks lubos. Unfortunately not correct yet.
Boxes 1 to 5 should include the value to 2 decimal places. Currently it shows the value with .00.
Box 6 should be rounded.
Box 7 should be the total net purchase value and rounded.
Box 8 should be net sales value from EU and rounded.
Box 9 should be net purchase value from EU and rounded.
The correct values are reported on the Tax Summary report.
Oops we double posted at the same time!
Any chance to have the something similar in other codes? When I saw the screenshot above posted by Lubos that is basically how the VAT returns form looks for me as well. There even is an XML template provided by the tax authority to upload data directly to their service.
@novica, this is all part of the business location concept being rolled out, where tax codes, country-specific reports, and related settings will be imported from an auxiliary data file. So far, there are only tax worksheets for Australia, UK, and Netherlands. There are two payroll reports for Australia. The idea is that users around the world can submit localized settings and features for approval and inclusion. There is no Guide about how this works yet, though.
Thanks for the clarification @Tut.
How can the localized settings and features requirements be submitted for approval and inclusion?
Read my previous answer.
