Could someone clarify under which license the desktop version is released? I understand it is “free” but I suppose it has released under a freeware license. Otherwise someone could resell your free version.
Why would anyone pay for it when they can get it for free?
If you were to charge someone for installing, configuring or showing them how to use it that is a different proposition but no one in their right mind would pay for the Desktop version!
They may if someone rebadged Manager, provided a download service, and advertised a price for purchase & maintenance of “their” software.
Most software license agreement exclude legally doing this.
Because they didn’t know it was available for free
