Is there a way to left justify the date in Reports - see below?

No. Report formats are hard-coded.

It appears the heading “Date” is left justified - so why not the column?

I don’t know. It was just coded that way. My previous answer was not meant to defend the report’s design, but only to answer your question as to whether there was a way to change it.
