Custom reports

Is there any guide or topic on how to create a custom report? I would like to create a report by an account with a number of sub accounts, with a subtotal for each subaccount and a gran total for the period. I have having trouble add totals to the report and there is no guide on creating custom reports. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Current implementation of custom reports is going to be soon replaced by easier one. What we have now is just too complicated to use and not even that good.


@lianabel, there is a Guide. But you probably won’t find it helpful for such a complex report.
