Creating sub-accounts in Chart of Accounts

Back in March 2014 Iubos said that he was working on a Classified Balance Sheet and a Multistep Income Statement. It seems to me that up to today, May 2016, this has not been done. I want to be able to create sub-accounts in both the Balance Sheet and the Profit and Loss account. I cannot do this at the moment. Is Iubos still working on a Classified Balance Sheet and a Multistep Income Statement?

Classified Balance Sheets, Multistep Income Statements and sub-accounts are available under Chart of Accounts by creating Groups.

@scorpio perhaps you could explain what you are trying to achieve with regards to sub-accounts?

Since March 2014, Manger did/had implemented “Classified Balance Sheet and a Multistep Income Statement” features but these have now been superseded by the current - May 2016 - more flexible functions of the chart of accounts.

Update your software and go Chart of Accounts. Groups is the new way of classifying accounts, it better.
What more? we are expecting custom control accounts
