Hi all! I haven’t even started figuring out how to do bookkeeping for my boyfriend’s super small business yet. I just downloaded this to start learning. What I really want to do is create some purchase orders by just filling in a form and emailing it. Is this possible? Thanks so much!
Read the Guide: Issue purchase orders | Manager. But understand that Manager is a full, double-entry accounting system, not a form-filling application. If you don’t know what it is supposed to accomplish, you will have a hard time using it. I suggest spending some quality time here: http://accountingcoach.com. Then create a test company, read the Guides, and try things out.
If all you want is a form for purchase orders, there are plenty of spreadsheet-based options available online.
