When copying Invoice items to the clipboard, the quantity column appears to be missing even though it is displayed in the UI. This worked fine when I last used it about a month ago.
In addition, I’m missing custom fields in this same view, which I believe were available before, though I could be wrong. It would be very useful to have them / have them back, so they could be easily exported via the clipboard.
The update introduces a bug though : there are extra blank columns copied to the clipboard after the actual non-blank columns, breaking Excel files that expect a certain number of columns. For example,
if I copy two sales invoices, I get one extra blank column appended
in the same company, if I copy sales invoice lines, I get one blank column
in another company, I’m copying over 9000 sales invoice lines, I get six extra blank columns
same company, I’m copying just the first 50 sales invoices lines, I get just one extra blank column.
Also, could you please clarify this point from my initial message: did we have custom columns in the Sales Invoices - Lines screen in the past ? Is it feasible to add them (or add them back)?
There is also an issue with quantity total. Previously it would show the total quantity in Sales and Purchase invoice lines but in the recent few versions it is gone. Kindly look into it.
Actually, forget about the case where I had six extra blank columns: that was due to the line description values with multiple lines. I can live without those in my exports.
I would really love to have custom fields in exports (or in the API, which is perfect!) and there is still the extra one column when copying to the clipboard.
