Does Manager have a feature that allows me to create an invoice for a percentage of the total amount quoted without having to reduce the quantity for each line item. For example if i want to invoice say only 30% without having to divide each item by 3.

But I think the best way to solve that would be to support discount ability per entire transaction rather than line item (that is coming) and then ability to hide the discount from customer.
This would achieve desired outcome without the need to tamper with each line item.

Could you just add an option to include a Subtotal as a line item, totalling up the preceding items and offer the option to discount then, similar to the way Quickbooks did? This would allow you to discount any items above the Subtotal as a group and still add non-discount or individual discount items below the subtotal.
I can totally relate to the problem but I don’t like your solution 
because copying QuickBooks piece by piece will only result in Manager inheriting the same design flaws.
I think if we gave @lubos a break he should be able to come up with a solution more efficient and less convoluted than Quickbooks.
