Yes, you’ll need to complete the onboarding process again to obtain a new certificate. Please note that your invoice counter will restart from the beginning.
The new certificate will only apply to future invoices and will not affect any invoices issued previously.
To re-onboard, you can simply reset your business details in the Manager. However, do not delete or revoke the existing onboarding information in the ZATCA portal.
One important note: I’m not sure how this change might affect credit notes issued for invoices that were signed using your previous certificate. It’s recommended to confirm this directly with the tax authority to ensure compliance.
