In the Cash Accounts tab, clicking on the # (Reference) heading while looking at a cash-account-transactions page produces a textual sort. In other tabs, such as Bank Accounts or Receipts & Payments, that column sorts numerically, as it should.
I have not tested all other tabs, but a quick test of a few reveals no others with this bug.
