if we enter net price of a product then the price excluding tax should be shown automatically …kindly take a look at the image i have uploaded …it will be a great help if its added in next update @lubos
What do you mean by net price? Manager will not work out your tax-inclusive amount for you if you enter your net of tax amount (price).
Manager will rather work out your tax if you enter tax-inclusive price/amount and click on the Amounts are tax inclusive
check box
Do not select any tax code if you don’t want Manager working out taxes on your price.
I hope you are answered
@santosh_solanki are you saying line item price inclusive and exclusive of GST should be shown during data entry. The quality not entered calculated by Manager.
it will be great help if manager calculates the taxable value in the invoice …now am doing it manually…
What do you really want to achieve?
Illustrate what you really want to achieve on some spreadsheet and share with us.
You really shouldn’t be calculating anything manually.
The only situation that I can think of for this is that you are using inclusive prices for your inventory items but then you want to issue invoices using exclusive format.
You should use exclusive prices with exclusive formats and you don’t need to calculate anything.
now if i select inclusive tax the taxable value is not shown in invoice…thats why i have to calculate it manually …its very simple …in gst we also have to show the taxable value …
That is currently not available. I’m not against Manager showing the tax-exclusive amount together with the tax subtotals but the question you should ask yourself is how did you come up with those prices? if you are depending on the software to show you the tax-exclusive prices of your product then you are not planning well. You need to figure out and document the tax-exclusive prices that work best for your business and then slap the tax element to it before entering the tax-inclusive prices into Manager.
I understand some customers may want to readily see that tax-exclusive amount on their receipts, if that is your motivation then I understand you.
Not sure I understand the problem - Manager offers two options and the tax is shown in both cases
Pricing with tax included
Pricing with tax excluded
how did u calculate the taxable value here?? did u calculate manually ? if yes then thats the problem i am taking about …
Nothing was calculated manually.
He is using tax exclusive format. Refer to this guide for more details:

Also, for this thing to work, you need to set the prices for your inventory items at their exclusive prices (i.e. taxable value). See this:
https://www.manager.io/guides/7551
if i select exclusive tax in purchase …the total does not match because there is no round off option in purchase invoice…
This depends on many things but I would first check my base currency setting for decimal precision. After that I would consider other things.
To correct decimal precision for currency see this.
