Hello @uzair94,
There’s been a major change since your previous version, namely, change in Desktop platform to electron.
One of the things to have changed is a change in how data folder path is stored:
This means that you may need to search for your old data folder location – search for the folder containing your *.manager
files – and that will be the path for your data folder.
but iam using server edition and there is no such option like this
This still holds for server edition as well.
Locate your old application data folder and set it using the Server method.
just found this. 00000000000000000000000000000000.manager file which is only 80 kb and i dont think it is business file as i have multiple business and this file is empty when used using upload feature also these are only business files where are users settings.
Did you configure the Manager Server Edition yourself or was it done by someone else? If you did it yourself, do you still remember the directory you set for the -path
or --path
argument when you first configured ManagerServer
? Which OS are you using the Manager Server Edition? Is it Linux (Ubuntu), Mac, or Windows?
If you don’t recall where you stored the data, try checking the data directory path in the -path
or --path
argument you previously set in the /etc/systemd/system/manager-server.service
file if you’re using the Manager Server Edition for Linux.
If you weren’t the one who configured it, try asking the person who did. The .manager
business data file, along with user
and keys
data on the server edition, should still exist if you haven’t deleted them. The data directory and the installation directory of the Manager Server Edition are never in the same directory by default. Unless you set it in the same directory during the initial installation, the data files should be located in a different directory from the installation files. Thus, when upgrading to a new version, the .manager
business data files will never be deleted, especially if the directory’s permissions are restricted.
I think structure is changed so i manually transffered all the data now on latest update everything is working
