Brisk Development Lifecycle - Is Manager still in Alpha?

I would like to begin using Manager for my business but am concerned around the very brisk development lifecycle.

There are updates to manager multiple times a day and sometimes significant ui, ux, changes are committed daily.

Are there plans to create a stable version in the future?

Thank you!

I’m using Manager for a couple of years now and it is as stable and solid as can be. The software never crashes and is 100% reliable and your data is as safe as can be. The reason why there are multiple updates a day, is that the developer is constantly improving his product. In the contrary to other (non-free commercial software) when a bug is detected, it is usually fixed in a couple of hours and you don’t have to wait ages before the problem is solved.

Thank you very much for the response. That helps me to begin to get comfortable with Manager.io.

Don’t get me wrong, Manager looks like an AMAZING product and I am grateful I found it.

It’s almost like I’m having a hard time believing something like this could exist.

Thank you!

I have been using Manager for over three years.

It is stable in that it does not crash, is fast to load, has small footprint and the best feature is that it is simple to use which is the main reason most people use it.

Yes it does have a fast release cycle, but most of the updates (which we never see) are minor updates (such as improving coding behind the scenes) and working towards adding new functionality.

I have found what works for me is to update Manager on my computer and then compare differences with my laptop using the old version when a Major release is brought out - i.e.when I see a release topic posted in the forum. In addition, I only update Manager when I see a new release out that I wish to take advantage of, so generally every four to six months I update the program. There is no need to update daily or even weekly.

Very creative. I really like that idea. Thank you for posting your experiences.
