Batch Update and accounts

Find and recode sounds closest to what I want.

Lubos has said he intends to extend the functionality of find & recode.

Accounts showing as Suspense for control accounts during Find & Recode

Fixed in the latest version (21.5.12). However, find & recode will need to be re-written from ground-up. It’s very outdated. My vision for new find & recode is to be generic and work across all the tabs and allow bulk recoding for any field. Current implementation of find & recode allows to recode only accounts and tax codes and even for accounts - you can’t recode to control accounts.

For now batch update would be an efficient way of achieving this. The easiest method is to manually change one transaction then use batch update to replicate it for all other transactions.
