The Batch update and create buttons are grayed out on the Receipts and Payments pages. I have many thousands of records and really need this functionality. It worked in some earlier editions.
Your point is clear, but a screenshot would be helpful. Have you tried clicking them?
They have always been displayed in light gray because they are not primary controls. Look at the examples in the Guide: Use Batch Create and Batch Update functions | Manager.
