Batch Create function

Trying to import currency exchange rates using batch create function.
I’ve followed guide, used headings in excel with exchange data (wasn’t 100% sure of how it expected to see currency type, so tried both USD & US Dollar)

However next screen doesn’t show a date column and currency type is blank

What am I doing wrong?

Currency requires a hexadecimal key, not a plain-language designation. You are better off to make an entry manually for each currency, then use Batch Update to see the actual format (and the keys for the currencies you want). Knowing those, you can go back to Batch Create.

Same thing applies to several other batch operations. I don’t remember which ones off the top of my head.

I only need USD.
I entered in 2x manual exchange rates for USD,

then clicked on batch update to see this

copied the hexadecimal code into spreadsheet
(delete out the dummy manual exchange rates)

Copied the table back into manager

Worked eventually, thanks Tut.
