If it is possible to select the chart of account in that “account” column from the main screen instead of clicking on “Edit” button and do the allocation in there.

I reckon that it is much faster for doing the book if the “account” column is making selectable like dropdown menu from chart of accounts.

I know that there is “Rule” can be set for auto categorized the income and expenses item but some bank transactions could not use bank rule for that purposes such as cheque number description.

Typically, you’d enter cheques in Manager when you issue them, or receive them. Then you wouldn’t need them to be categorized as they’d be already entered properly.
