I created three bank rules, but all my transactions are still sitting in the Suspense account. I don’t understand why the bank rules are not working.
Example of one of my bank rules:
Bank rule:
Bank account: Any bank account
Description: BARROW
Account: Furniture
Transaction Description: Point Of Sale Withdrawal BARROW (redacted)
Result: When viewing the statement balance, this transaction is in the Suspense account and there is no checkbox to the left of it for me to check for bulk updating.
Why is it still in suspense and why is there no checkbox?
Edited to add: I found out why this was happening. Now, I have to go to the “Uncategorized” section. I cannot just go to the statement view anymore. I didn’t know that. It’s working now.
