I have been using Manager now for over 5yrs and it is by far the best accounting software i have ever used. I know nothing about accounts, my knowledge extends as far as money in and money out. Being a small business owner, the application has helped me look very professional and allows me to present my financial data to qualified accountants in a logical and structure manner. I love the new features you have added and I have learnt a lot about accounting using the application.
I was wondering if it would not be too much trouble to add an ADD button from any page where one needs to add a supplier or customer. For example, if I want to create a new payment and I type in a supplier who is not in my supplier list, I have to close the payments form, open the supplier form and add the supplier. It would be great to be directed to the supplier form from within the payments form to add a new supplier. Once added, the information I may already have entered on the payments form is still open on the screen. The same with the invoice form if I am invoicing a customer I have not added yet.
You do not have to close the payment or receipt screen to add a new supplier or customer
Right click on the Supplier or Customer tab and select “Open link in new widow”
A new window will open where you can add a new supplier or customer. When you have added the new supplier/customer they will be available in the payment/receipt transaction window
Hi this is a good question and answer. The only problem when I tried right clicking on the customer field, It simply opens a little window with the only option saying, “look for an app on Microsoft apps to open it” I’m using Manager Desktop version 24.10.8.1879. If the option to look on one’s computer was also available, should solve the issue.
I am a semi retired oldie who used to use Quicken, but now enjoy using Manager accounting for my book keeping, which does all I need for records and reports

Although @VACUUMDOG provided the answer please note that before posting according to FAQ - Manager Forum you need to update Manager (as of this post to v25.1.27.2048) the following:
Manager advances very quickly, simplifying and adding features and capabilities. Sometimes, bugs occur with new releases. But these are usually fixed rapidly, often within minutes. So if you encounter a problem with the desktop or server editions, update Manager , even if you recently did. (The cloud edition is always up to date.) You can check the latest version at https://www.manager.io/desktop/download/ .
