Advanced search doesnt work with multiple value custom fileds

I only tried this on inventory item… I added a (multiple value custom filed) called (Thing) with options A and B… while in the inventory tab, I click advanced search and cant choose A or B

Update Manager. Read Renamed "Advanced Search" to "Custom Reports" and making the feature look report-like

I just downloaded the latest version 24.2.26.1322 I still cant choose A or B

This issue has been resolved in the latest version (24.2.27)

Sorry I’m reopening this issue for the third time @lubos . I changed the options to (AB) and (CD)

the (contains) actually behaves like (is equal to) … so (A) returns an empty list while (AB) does return it
the (does not contain) has the same problem, (A) returns everything but (AB) filters it out

Is that the intended behavior?

the (is empty) and (is not empty) work fine

Yes, it’s intentional. What is your use-case to make it work differently?
