Adding bank statement CSV

I have tried the guides but still cant find Receipts & Payments to upload CSV bank statements.
not very clear and cant see any button.

If you can’t see the Receipts & Payments tab on the left, see Customize a business | Manager.

What version of manager are you using?


As Graham said, it isn’t clear what you are asking - are you saying you do not see the Receipts & Payments tab or that in the Receipts & Payments tab you do not see the button Import bank statement at the bottom of the page?

That not showing
please advise a step by step

  1. Click on the “Receipts & Payments” tab on the left side of the screen.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you should see it there. If you do not see it, show us a screen shot of what you do see.

Another route to import a bank statement is:

  1. Click on the “Bank Accounts” tab.
  2. Click on the balance in the “Cleared balance” column of the account for which you’d like to import the statement.
  3. Click on the “Import bank statement” button that appears next to the page title.

However, the fact that you haven’t managed with the first method suggests that there is something major wrong with how you’re using Manager, so it would probably be worth resolving that regardless of whether or not the second method works for you.

Having trouble importing CSV bank statements

Open the file with a text editor (not spreadsheet or word processing program).
Check it has been saved as a “Comma separated values” file with header row at the top with the exact names specifed in:
Cash and Bank Transactions : Import bank statements

If your bank has any other format files you should try them as csv is the least reliable
