Add option for New Inventory Item

Hello and kudos to all the creators and contributors,
I am curious if it’s possible to add an option to create a new inventory item from the purchase invoice or the goods receipt, so that every time when we receive or buy the new items dont have to go back to the inventory tab and follow the procedure and come back again to make the purchase invoice or goods receipt. Thanks in advance!!!

A workaround is that whenever you want to create new item from Purchase incoice/goods receipt then rightclick on the inventory tab and then open in new tab. This way you can have them both open side by side and can create new item without closing your Purchase invoice/goods receipt.

Thanks for your kind response, indeed it’s a very good alternative which I am sure going to do that, but motive to create my post on it was I wanted to know if developers are thinking about adding the options direct in the invoices & receipt which could be more convenient and applicable, Thanks.

If you search the forum and given that it is not even in ideas this is not supported as it can easily be accomplished by the work around that @shahabb presents. It is also good practice to add new inventory items before creating purchase orders/invoices/goods receipts.
