Hello,
In Turkey, it is common and often required by counterparties to show the total amount in words on invoices. Manager currently provides “Amount in Words” themes for some languages (e.g., English, Arabic, Indian English), but there is no Turkish variant. Please add Turkish “Amount in Words” support.
Scope requested
- Documents: Primarily Sales Invoices. If feasible, extend the same engine to Sales Quotes, Sales Orders, and Delivery Notes as an option.
- Language/format: Turkish number-to-words with Türk Lirası and Kuruş.
- Optional setting: Choice between ALL CAPS or normal capitalization.
Expected output examples (TRY)
- 1.234,00 TL → “Bin iki yüz otuz dört Türk Lirası 00 Kuruş”
- 1,50 TL → “Bir Türk Lirası 50 Kuruş”
- 0,75 TL → “Sıfır Türk Lirası 75 Kuruş”
- 1.000.000,01 TL → “Bir milyon Türk Lirası 01 Kuruş”
Edge cases and rules
- “Yüz” (not “Bir yüz”)
- “Bin” (not “Bir bin”)
- Always two decimal digits for kuruş (00–99)
- Use full currency names “Türk Lirası” and “Kuruş” (not symbols)
Our environment
- Manager version: [enter from About Manager]
- UI language: Turkish
- Theme tested: [Default / Amount in Words (English)]
- Example invoice total: [attach screenshot if helpful]
Why this matters
- This is widely expected by customers and institutions in Turkey. Manual entry is error‑prone. Adding a Turkish “Amount in Words” locale to the existing engine would improve accuracy and workflow for many users.
Thank you for considering this request.
