Add a Recurring Note to Invoices

Hello. I 'd like to add a note to my invoices asking customers to leave a review. I’ve been typing it into the notes field each time, but I’d like to have it populated automatically. Can anybody give som insight on my options? Thanks.


Use form defaults and write your note. It will appear on all Sales Invoice forms without typing it every time.
You can also use Footers for this purpose.

I can not do any note on my invoice anyway. I did try the way you said but is not working.

So then please illustrate with screenshots what you actually did and what is not working. Also note that Footnotes will not work when you use a custom theme (obsolete feature).

Show how you created the footnote (edit screen), show how you selected it to an Invoice (edit screen), show how it is selected to the recurring invoice (edit screen).

I would add Notes on the bottom like I have it in other company. But I don’t know how to do it.

Are you able to tell me how to do it?

You can see that the Notes are under Custom Fields. So in Settings you need to create a Custom Field that you name Notes.

You can then use @shahabb instructions to add the content as a Form default so you do not have to retype each Note.

You need to add the custom field Notes also to Recurring invoices in the Custom Field you added to Sales Invoices, see screenshots:
