Accountant managing 500 clients

I am an accountant wanting to use the server edition to manage 500 clients. considering the high volume of clients and transactions, would there be any associated data storage cost apart from the one off purchase cost of 299 dollars for the server edition. I would like to know the recommended storage for this number of client and how to manage storage cost if any.

License is $299 USD but you will need to run it on a server. If you run it on your server, then there is no additional cost.

I do not have a server. How do i go about it and what kind of server can accommodate the volume of business i run

Talk to a local business who provides server support services.

@ekene2004 For a large business such as yours, it would be much better if you’d outsource the server management, operations, performance, etc. to another company. It will be even more wise to choose a company with experience of running ERP / full-stack accounting software such as Manager. And for that, the Cloud Edition with local backups, would make a complete sense.

I believe, the Manager.io team recently added multiple locations in their Cloud offering to reduce latency. They designed the product and know what they are doing!

As a system engineer and a programmer, I’d recommend that you spend most of your time doing what your business goals demand you to do, instead of managing and running your server, a task which itself can become too laborious at times!

I hope this helps

thank you
