I am a Sole Trader (Australia) and was just inquiring as to what reports are required to be generated at the end of the financial year (1/7/2017 to 30/6/2018) for tax return to be completed by accountant.
Last year, we just emailed our accountant the *.manager company file and the link for them to download the Manager program. They loved it!
Probably just the P&L statement, balance sheet, and BAS worksheet. But ask your accountant.

It’s a Report used for Australian VAT reporting
The BAS worksheet is only available under Reports if you use an Australian tax code.
I ask my clients for P&L and balance sheet and if I have not done them before I also ask for the asset report and maybe the current account.and then I email them any questions I have but alot of the time I end up just getting the bank statements and importing them into manager or I get a shoe box full of receipts and invoices
