Grouping of Tracking Codes

I work in a company in which tracking codes can be a real benefit for the company. They have heavy equipment, and the want to use tracking codes to track expenses and revenue for each equipment. The only missing problem here is that they want to view the overall performance of each group of tracking codes. for example some tracking codes need to be grouped under excavators, other group of tracking codes need to be grouped under dump trucks, and others under wheel loaders, and so on.
