and @lubos is totally silent on the issue… still cost of sale is incorrect. I don’t know why he went into this adventure, once everything was fine…
Is any work going on to correct the inventory/cost of inventory or not?
in one of my month summary it is showing as per following screenshot. Which is obviously totally incorrect.
@lubos Please we still look forward to fix the custom cost of goods… It really important to our business
No response from developer. Have we been left on the mercy of…?
Dear @lubos, You might have done a lot of work but the issue doesn’t seems to be resolved. Look at my below screen shot where it is showing so drastically wrong figures… what should I do?
@CEOHaaks have you tried clicking on that figure? Can you show screenshot what it shows when you drill-down into it?
It shows following. More so in one hour my net profit reduced by 200K, without any thing put in expenses…
Please dont mind, but u have really confused everything, and its getting more complicated day by day. I only sell Finish Goods (FG) after making production order. Previously i could see cost of my FG even three year old by clicking on unit cost. I could easily see cost of sale of sale invoices now my over 600 inventory items seen in drill down. Please have some mercy.
The simple would be get back from where u started “recalculating”. I think you have to revert to pre calculating updates…
It seems like your opening inventory is too low or your closing inventory is too high.
Can you click on Opening inventory figure and then click Recalculate ? Do the same for closing inventory and click Recalculate.
Do we have to do again and again, every day, every time??
Hi @lubos is there a way that we can revert to the previous version prior to these changes affecting the COGS. We really want the match capability in the previous version where Sales and COGS can be matched. Hoping for a favorable response. Thank you
Nope. Once recalculated those updated Unit cost values are saved in Database. If you change historical transactions, in that case you might need to recalculate again.
I am really astonished why such changes were done which have adversity affected us…
This query remains unanswered… but practically we have to do it. And every time we perform this “recalculate” operation my net profit changes… what a pitty on this update…
I agree. Why do we have to push recalculate button at all? Even after doing that if I change dates on summary page it messes up again!
Yes, you are right, now once I started my system my net profit was 31.8, once I pressed recalculate of Inventory cost, it reduced to 30.6. What is the fun going on. @lubos is totally silent about it.
Manger has shaken my confidence at least as far as inventory is concerned.
@CEOHaaks, @applet, @RBT0519 and others regarding recalculate this was/is discussed in another topic, that introduced:
More related to the frequency of using the recalculate button see for example post 5:

Hi all,
Inventory cost has yet to be settled by the developer. The cost of sale in Summary as shown once drill downed, the production cost mentioned is 48k, But once I open the production order of same FGs the cost is shown as 35K. Now, this is a new anomaly. Hope developer will look into it. The screen shot will hopefully explain better.
Regards
@CEOHaaks the production order view is using old calculation method. In the future, production order view won’t show costs. You will be able to see production costs in general ledger when drilling down into inventory cost account (I will make Production Orders figure clickable).
There could also be some kind of new report named Production Order Summary which can show how costs flow through inventory for the period.
