I have tried to install latest update Version 25.10.21.3014 on Desktop and it just freezes and does nothing. I have given it more than 10 minutes but it is stuck on “Getting the system ready for install” Am I being impatient or is this a large update? Anyone else having problems with it?
I guess I am the only one that can’t get the Windows Desktop to update any of the later updates after 25.10.19.3007? Do I have to start paying to get the updates now? I have never had this problem before. I have rebooted several times to make sure that wasn’t the problem, but did not help. I disabled my anti- virus program, no luck updating, I have tried uninstalling Manager and was unable to even do that. it will not uninstall nor update now. Please help.
Manager installation is just copying some files over. It should be always very fast. But there is nothing I can do about this issue at my end. Manager is distributed on Windows as modern ASPX installer which is basically a zip file.
Thank you for your reply. I think it may be a Microsoft update that was installed yesterday. I am resetting computer to an earlier time to see if that fixes the problem.
I now can download updates. it was the last Microsoft update that cause havoc. They had a repair update right after it a day so after the update was installed on my computer. After I ran the repair, all is good. I will make this a solution to my inquiry.
