Just checked the forum after receiving the routine ‘forum summary’ email and came across this topic. I had been waiting for the latest version of Ubuntu to see if the ‘libmono-wcf3.0a-cil’ problem that I had with Debian Stretch would appear. I have just followed the excellent instructions and now have Manager Desktop running on Stretch and no longer have to rely on a VM running Jessie.
I have been using Manager for the last month and Lubos you should be very proud of yourself, it is FANTASTIC. Thank you so much will now consider moving to the Server version.

Hey, what OS is this on? If it is Ubuntu, and you recently upgraded to 16.04, you might need to re-install mono-complete. Not sure if that helps.
Either that, or if you upgrade by just extracting everything over the old stuff, maybe try cleaning the old files out, and do a clean extraction.
