Is there a possibility to make the system auto logoff when a user is not doing anything or in other words idle for a certain time period.

Sorry but I do not think so because Manager would require some kind of automation. Cron Jobs (Unix, Linux, Mac) and Scheduled Tasks (Windows) would need to be implemented for such to work and it is doubtful if such added complexity can and will be added.
You can consider to use a screensaver that does the same and require a password to access the computer again.
