What about a document repository possibly on linked to the the sales invoice were you can associate files with it, ie. purchase invoices, quotes, signed delivery notes, and really any other related “paperwork”. Could just be a simple “add file” and attach scanned paperwork.
More a nice to have than required functionality. It would certainly help reduce the masses of paperwork files everywhere.
This has been already suggested number of times. It’s not difficult to implement, it’s just, as you said, nice-to-have functionality rather than must-have. I’m planning to add support for attachments after payroll module is released which I just started to work on so stay tuned. It won’t take long.
