You can setup a password using your operating system, so that if the computer is left unattended, then a password is required to logon again
The Desktop vetsion is designed for single user use
Regardless of whether others agree with you, by choosing to use the desktop edition you accept responsibility for data security. The protection you seek is available in both paid editions of the program.
