Strange account appears when editing Account structure

I added 42 entries to the Chart of Accounts (including Groups) under the structure Assets - Non-current Assets - Inventory. Suddenly an Account entry labelled Inventory on Hand appeared in the middle of my additions.

I cannot delete it as when I edit it there is no option, only update. It also relegated all of my Account entries from Inventory to uncategorized. When I try to rename it the entry show the original name struck through and the new name beside it.

Thanks. Sorry I missed that. I wasn’t adding inventory items yet, just setting up the chart of accounts to mirror the existing system; standard procedure when converting.

Whoever wrote this system is a (are) bloody genius(es)!
