Since backing up to a new computer the Spend money button does not appear on purchase invoices.
How do I spend money?
I have tried clicking on bank account tab as suggested in previous forum entries but the spend money tab does not appear there either.

When you view a purchase invoice you get a New Payment button
which is also available ion the Receipts & Payments tab
What you are seeing is the result of changes in version 18.8.59 back in August 2018. Read relevant Guides, which have been modified to incorporate the consolidation of Cash Transactions and Bank Transactions into Receipts & Payments tabs.
