Restricting users from updating start date balances

Hi, I have just started using Manager and have version 17.8.21.

I have entered a start date and created a number of restricted users. Some of the users need to have access to bank accounts but I would like to prevent them from changing the starting balances either on purpose or in error.

I tried disabling update and delete and this prevents all update and deletes as it should. However, as soon as update is enabled the the restricted user can change starting balance.

Is there a way that restricted users can create and update transactions but not the starting balances ?

No, there is no column-level access restrictions in Manager.

It’s all done at the record level (Create / Read / Update / Delete) only.
