Hope everyone has a better 2021 than 2020.
If a bank account is renamed then the interaccount transfers (IAT) section does not update the new account name.
The renamed bank account does not record the IATs either.
These have to be altered manually from within the IAT or the other account involved in the transfer.
There is a problem with updating account name changes .

When I change a bank account name, it is changed everywhere, including in the Inter Account transfers
What version are you using?

No screenshots as I’ve corrected all these transfers manually.
I cannot duplicate this. If I change a bank or cash account name, it is changed on every previous transaction, including inter account transfers.
I don’t know what you are referring to by this statement. You cannot edit the name of an account in an inter account transfer. You can only select other previously defined accounts. These are only selectable from a dropdown list. For example:
If you edit the name of a bank account, the edited name is what appears in the dropdown list, whether for new or existing transactions. I am on version 20.10.96, but this functionality has not changed in years.
Just tried to duplicate it again and all is ok. Not sure what happened.
