Remove/edit E-Mail invoice bottom box

Hello, Im new here and am currently testing out the manager software. I am satisfied so far, but I have a small problem with the e-mails. I already searched the faq, old guide, new guide and this forum, but i havent found any helpful information about it yet. I saw that others dont have that box. How can I remove this box from the invoice e-mail? Is there any way to turn it off? Thank you!

I also have another question: Is it possible to position the euro sign after the sum on invoices?

thanks for reading and helping

No. That is the button that allows the recipient to view the transaction. By the way, the entire scheme does not work on the desktop edition.

And no, you cannot reposition the currency sign.

In the future, follow forum rules, and only include one question per post.

Okay, thank you. Is there no chance to edit that Box to improve its Design a bit? Like its HTML and CSS? Its weird because its below all the Text and the Signature. Im currently only testing the desktop version to install the Server one later.

And sorry

That box is not emailed like that. It only shows before emailing. Try it.

I already tried it and it got emailed. Thats why im worried about it. Does this only happen in the desktop version?

I added my own mailserver to test it.

@Tut already gave you the answer to this read it again please/

@Steve175, your posts are confusing. You say you are testing the desktop edition. First, make sure your software is current. Manager is sometimes updated several times in one day. As I write this, the current version is v24.1.7.1255. Updating is especially important because some recent changes were made to the processes for creating PDFs and emailing. If you have a somewhat older version, what I write below will not make sense.

Second, there are two ways to create a PDF of a transaction:

  • By enabling the internal PDF generator under Obsolete Features in the Settings tab. This allows you to generate a PDF directly from the program. But it will not work with all computers and operating systems. And it is not supported by the developer. If it works for you, it works. If it doesn’t, use the other method.

  • By leaving the internal PDF generator disabled, the default condition. To create a PDF, you must use the print-to-PDF feature of your operating system or a third-party “PDF printer.”

If the internal PDF generator is enabled, the PDF will be attached directly when you send an email.

If the internal PDF generator is not enabled, you must attach the PDF you created using print-to-PDF to an email yourself. If you try to email directly, the program will send the screen you don’t like. In that case, the View (Anzeigen) button is the only way for the recipient to see the transaction. Importantly, that only works on the cloud and internet-accessible server editions. The reason is that the button is the hyperlink to the document on your server. When you use the desktop edition, the button does not function for others, because it is a link right back to your own machine, which they cannot access.

This can be misleading, because you may think you are sending a transaction if you test it by sending to yourself. Others will not be able to view the transaction. That is what I meant when I said the scheme does not work on the desktop edition.

@Tut Thanks for your message. I said im testing the desktop edition because i want to use the server one later but i wont install it just for testing. I just tested it on desktop edition because it has the same features.

I used 24.1.7.1255 yesterday and today i tested with 24.1.9.1263 and got the same result. I just wanted to remove the box to send the email and the invoice as pdf which i create with “print to pdf”. I dont even need the box and the view button on the reachable server edition. Ik that the desktop one is only reachable from my pc. Ik that its meant to open the invoice in a browser with that link.

Sorry for my poor explanation, which is why you may not have understood me correctly. It would be great if theres a setting to disable that box (atleast on desktop edition) to send mails from it but without that box. Its unnecessary if the view button does not work on the desktop edition or if the company which uses the software dont want to use that browser view feature. Its a good idea, but most people wont really need it.

@eko I know that Tut already told me that but i was confused because you said that the box isnt emailed like that. so i told you that it is for me. If that behaviour is different on server edition, then please tell me that.

Thank you both.

If you enable the obsolete PDF generator in Settings on Server edition it will show the box when sending the email but the recipient only gets the text message with the attachment and not the box. This should be similar for the Desktop edition, please try.
